The web search queries to find out how to get white linen sheets bright white again, or how to clean white linen sheets or how to whiten linen sheets, or how do I get my towels and bed linens bright white are quite frequent.
UALinen recommends using two easy-to-apply and workable methods.
You will need to have just two solutions that are hydrogen peroxide and ammonium hydroxide. These are found in every household.
Method 1: Take one teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and dilute it in 2 liters of warm (40C) water. Soak your white stuff in this solution for about 20 min regularly turning things over so that the linen bed sheet is evenly whitened. Rinse in clean water.
Method 2: Take 100 gr of ammonium hydroxide and dilute 2 liters of warm water (40C). Soak your white stuff for about 2 hours regularly turning things over so that the linen bed sheet is evenly whitened. If things are very dirty, add a small amount of turpentine to the water with ammonium hydroxide. Rinse in clean water. To get a universal stain remover, mix half a glass of hydrogen peroxide, half a glass of baking soda, and a glass of water.
Importantly, both methods use 100% natural compounds that due to their oxidizing properties dissolve dirt residues and perfectly whiten linen fabric not destroying it.
